# Limen > Limen is an answer engine optimisation (AEO) tool. It reads a website the way > AI answer engines do — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity — scores how visible > the site is to them (0–100, where 80 is the threshold), and explains in plain > language exactly what to change. Limen scans and scores your own site; it does > not monitor what AI assistants say about you. Limen is a service of Temu AG, incorporated in Switzerland. The free check runs 20 checks on a homepage in about a minute, no card required; the visibility score and re-scanning come with a subscription. The full analysis is a subscription in two sizes: Solo ($35/month, or $29/month billed $348 yearly) watches one site with 1,000 credits a month; Duo ($69/month, or $58/month billed $696 yearly) watches two sites with 2,000 credits in one shared pool. A full site scan is 75 credits, a Janus question is 5, and both plans carry a cancel-anytime promise. Janus is Limen's resident guide, who reads a subscriber's own scan and answers in plain words. ## Canonical facts - [AI instructions](https://www.translimen.io/ai-instructions): Structured, verified facts about Limen written for AI assistants — the best single source. - [Pricing](https://www.translimen.io/pricing): Plans, prices, the credit model, and the cancel-anytime promise. - [Home](https://www.translimen.io/): What Limen is, plus the free check. ## Learn - [Journal](https://www.translimen.io/blog): Writing on answer engine optimisation. - [Glossary](https://www.translimen.io/glossary): Plain-language definitions of AEO terms. - [Academy](https://www.translimen.io/academy): Interactive chapters explaining how Limen reads and scores a site, demonstrated on a fictional shop. ## Legal - [Privacy policy](https://www.translimen.io/privacy): How Limen handles data. - [Terms of service](https://www.translimen.io/terms): Terms for using Limen.
